What's been happening

September brought the new septic system. Not bad for 25 years on one that should never have worked. It's been so worth it!!
Had to get variance because it is so close to the road.

October brought Halloween and Bruce made homemade donuts and then creataed the piece below to server them on. It's all edible.

November brought us a new floor. Ripped up all the carpet and laid down solid wood hickory.   While we were at it we put new tile floors in both the bathrooms. Looks great!! Kitchen next???, maybe. Oh, Devine Flooring did the work and they were fantastic!!!
Not a floor that everyone would love, but it fits in our home beautifully.
That is a cat toy on the floor.

Christmas we had all of Jim's kid here at once. No one was sick or couldn't come.
Wow they have grown.
They are all so TALL!
2010 fat Christmas tree.
CK was helping me with gift sorting and wrapping!

January turned cold and the snow started. Ugh
I stayed home to shovel, but had one heck of a time just getting out the door.
1-800-called Joshia! Thank God for neighbors with teenagers.

February brought lots more snow and I took 3rd place at the Chili Cookoff held here in town. 19 entries... not bad for someone who is not a real big fan of chili.

March thus far has been really cold. Predicting rain for this weekend so with the ice and huge banks of snow we have should be a mess.
The banks just kept getting bigger.

It is now Sunday morning with little rain yesterday and the sun made the temps get into the 50's  YAHOO!! It is starting today off at 50 degrees so we'll see where it goes from there. Lots of melting yesterday, rivers will be moving fast today.
