Valentine's weekend we took a ride to Boothbay Harbor, Maine. It was a great trip!!! We stayed at the Flagship Inn and had a great room with a king size bed. Can you believe, the bed was comfortable? No aching backs in the morning. We had dinner at McSeagull's at the harbor and listened to a band called Goody 2 Shooz. Check them out; they are a mix of jazz and blues and soul. Most of their stuff that night was slow and I wish they had picked up the tempo a bit, but their voices are great together and what a sax player Pam is.
The wind was cold and strong so our walking was limited. But we did enough to get red faces and very cold ears.
As usual the sunsets in Boothbay did not disappoint us. It must have something to do with the salt air, as they are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen.
